The Itinerary looks like this: Day 1 & 2: Depart from the USA [we are looking at leaving from Chicago –(an addition of $398 to the base cost)], Arrive at Ben Gurion, Transfer to Bethlehem for overnight. Day 3: “King of Israel”: View the Herodion, Worship in Shepherd’s Field, Visit Bethlehem, the Nativity Church and visit local ministries. Spend overnight in Bethlehem. Day 4: “The Wilderness Experience”: Visit Jericho and the Jordan River Baptismal Site, Visit Qumran and swim in the Dead Sea, overnight in Bethlehem. Day 5: “Jesus in Jerusalem”: Visit Mt. Zion and the Upper Room, pray at the Western Wall and view the Temple Mount, explore St. Peter in Gallicantu, visit the Jerusalem Archaeological Park, sit on the Teaching Steps, spend overnight in Jerusalem. Day 6: “Jesus’ Ministry in the Galilee”: Pray at Tabgha, walk the ruins of Capernaum, sail on the Sea of Galilee, read the Sermon on the Mount as you stand on the Mount of Beatitudes, spend overnight in Jerusalem. Day 7: “The Week that Shook the World”: Walk down the Mount of Olives, pray in the Garden of Gethsemane, visit the Church of all Nations, see the Pool of Bethesda, journey the Via Dolorosa, pray at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, celebrate communion at the Garden Tomb, spend overnight in Jerusalem. Day 8: Return Home with a new understanding of the Bible and of Jesus’ land and life. Realize spiritual growth and renewal, increased discipleship, stewardship and commitment. We will participate in lecture series of “Jerusalem in the Time of Jesus” and “Geography and It’s Impact on the Bible. The Educational theme for this trip is “Jesus: His Life, His Time, His Land, His Hebrew Faith.”
